How to download
When do I get a download?
A full download of the latest version of the library is made available to you when:
- purchasing a downloadable library on our website, or:
- registering a downloadable challenge code on our website, or:
- buying a download token to convert your boxed registration into a downloadable registration
How to download
Option 1: Native Access
The majority of our libraries can be downloaded directly from NI’s Native Access application:

- Symphobia 2
- Symphobia 1
- Colours: Animator
- Colours: Orchestrator
- Colours: Adaptive Runs

To download and install one of the above libraries using Native Access, follow these steps:
- Install Native Access if you haven’t done so yet
- Log in using your Native Instruments username and password (so not your ProjectSAM login), or create a new account
- If you do not have Kontakt (Player) installed yet, you can now install it from Native Access
- Click (+) Add a serial and enter your serial number
- Click the Install icon next to the library you just added
- The library will now be downloaded and automatically added to Kontakt/Komplete
Option 2: Direct Download Link
All libraries, including the ones not listed above, can be downloaded directly from your browser as a single ZIP file. These direct links can be found at the bottom of the download instructions in your ProjectSAM account.
- Download the ZIP file using the direct link found in yourProjectSAM account.
- Unzip the ZIP file and put the resulting library folder in a location of your choice
- Install Native Access if you haven’t done so yet
- Log in using your Native Instruments username and password, or create a new account
- If you do not have Kontakt (Player) installed yet, you can now install it from Native Access
- Click (+) Add a serial and enter your serial number
- Click the Locate icon next to the library you just added
- Click Browse and point to the location you put the library folder in
- The library is now available in Kontakt and Komplete
Making a backup
It is important to make a safe backup of your purchase. While you get multiple downloads per license and are allowed to request additional downloads if needed, the fastest way to restore an installation is to simply have a local backup of the library folder in question.
If you downloaded the library using the ProjectSAM Downloader, it is now time to install and activate the library so that you can start using it in Kontakt, Komplete or Maschine. If you downloaded using Native Access, this has already been done for you.
